Private Portfolio Managers (PPM) is delighted to welcome Ian Hardy to the PPM portfolio management team. Ian has more than 30 years investment management and research experience. Combined, the PPM portfolio management team has more than 110 years research and investment management experience.
"Ian brings a wealth of investment management experience and will bolster an already very strong research and portfolio management capability at PPM" Hugh MacNally, PPM founder said. "Ian's addition will also allow us to service additional family offices, charities, and wealthy individuals, through our bespoke Individually Managed Account Service." he added.
Mr. Hardy joined PPM from Centric Portfolio Managers, the Individually Managed Account (IMA) arm of Centric Wealth, where he was Chief Investment Officer with responsibility for more than $300 million in funds under management. Ian was also the Investment Manager for Centric Wealth's Private Capital division, overseeing an additional $100 million in funds.
Ian joined Centric in 2007 when Halliday Financial Group, a specialist high net worth advisor was acquired by Centric Wealth. Ian expanded and further developed the IMA offering at Halliday and later Centric. "Mr Hardy has been at the forefront of the managed accounts business and in particular IMAs for some time. Combined with our 15 year track record in managing IMAs, Ian's experience will ensure PPM remains a leader in managed accounts and servicing the investment management needs of successful individuals and families." Mr. NacNally said.
Mr. Hardy's earlier experience included Group Chief Investment Officer at Challenger, where Mr. Hardy was responsible for more than $8 billion in funds under management.
