Private Portfolio Managers has been shortlisted in the International Equities category of the 2026 IMAP Managed Account Awards, announced on 28 July 2026, alongside Loftus Peak and Morgan Stanley. Winners will be named at the Awards ceremony in Sydney on Tuesday 8 September 2026.
Entries are assessed by an independent panel of investment professionals drawn from investment committees, portfolio management and managed account research — judges who evaluate the full process behind a portfolio, not simply its recent performance.
PPM has managed international equities since 2007 and launched its Global Equities Growth SMA strategy in 2017. This is the firm’s sixth time on the shortlist, and its fifth in a row since that strategy launched — a run we are very pleased to continue.
“The judges look at process, not just headline returns, which is the right test,” said Hugh MacNally, Executive Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, Private Portfolio Managers. “We have invested the same way since the firm started managing international equities in 2007 — quality businesses, conservative balance sheets, a sensible price, and long holding periods, with clients owning the underlying shares directly.”
We congratulate our fellow finalists and thank the IMAP judging panel, our clients, and the advisers we work with.
